Speed Sign Report – December 2018

We have nine Speed Indicator Devices (SIDs) deployed in Seaton Valley.  These locations are all in response to concerns from residents about vehicles speeding.

As well as giving drivers a visual display of their speed, the signs are recording vehicle speed data that we are using to produce this report.

Community Speed Watch

Community Speed Watch is a scheme operating across the Northumbria Police Force area allowing local people to help reduce traffic speeds.

There are already some Community Speed Watch volunteers in Seaton Valley and we would like to encourage more residents to get involved.
