Following a residents survey, consultation with schools, community groups and businesses, village plans have now been published. In addition, a Valley wide plan addressing issues common throughout all villages has been produced.
The plans contain recommended actions to be taken forward. These actions seek to improve the lives of residents in Seaton Valley.
Seaton Valley Council will now commence the delivery of these actions, working with resident and community associations and partners.
Council Chair Darren Mullen said “It has been a really worthwhile exercise gathering views and issues from people across the Valley, and helps the Council determine where priority actions are needed. While some actions are achievable fairly quickly, others may take some time and are, in some instances reliant on powers outside of the Council’s control. We will work hard to try and influence other organisations to move forward where appropriate.”
