We were delighted at the response to the 2018 Photography Competition. We received some excellent photographs submitted in the five categories of landscape, wildlife, village life, under 18s and under 10s.
Once again, due to the high standard of the submitted images, it made judging of the winners of the categories very difficult.
The category winners attended an Awards Ceremony on the 11 April at the Council Offices and were given their prizes by Councillor Les Bowman. He said’ I really enjoy seeing the photographs that are entered into our Photography Competition each year. We live in such a beautiful area that is full of such wonderful views and wildlife. I would like to congratulate the category winners and thank everyone who entered the competition’. The winning photographers and their photographs are shown below along with a short video of all of the photographs entered into the competition.
Under 10s Winner – Scout Clarke
Under 18s Winner – Jack Inchmore
Winner Village Life – Neil Howarth
Winner Wildlife – Tony Quinn
Winner Landscape – Tom Pugh
