Local Government Transparency Code 2015
Seaton Valley Community Council has considered the implications of The Code and how it affects the council and has concluded that it is required to publish information in respect of the following aspects of its business:
- Details of expenditure items greater than £500
- Details of invitations to tender and contract awards where the value exceeds £5,000
- Details of land and building assets, and
- Details of grants made to voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations.
In the spirit of The Code the council has decided to publish information over and above that required by it and such information can be accessed by clicking the links below:
- Expenditure items over £250 (quarterly)
- Invitations to tender and contract awards over £1,000 ( updated as and when)
- Land and building assets (permanently)
- Grants awarded (by end of April each year)

- The council did not invite tenders for any contracts in 2023/24 outside of its preferred supplier arrangements
